Isn't this Honey Birdette set so pretty? I got it on Depop from Tiah Eckhardt who is an international model and lingerie blogger who has too many things in her closet. I know the feeling! But I had to have this set, it's just so gorgeous and I can't resist a beautiful jewel tone. I bought it a few cup sizes too small, and I knew that going into it. I wear a 32F and this set is a 32D but does fit larger. I mean, I can get my boobs into it!
I'll say this right off the bat, bra fit is very important but it's not the most important thing. You should feel comfortable in your lingerie and knowing your proper size is important. It can help making lingerie shopping a lot less stressful and easy for a lot of women. But to me, lingerie isn't so much about fit as it is about the way it makes you feel. Lingerie is an experience, it should make you feel something. And when I unwrapped this set and put it on, it made me feel so beautiful! To me, that's worth more than proper bra fit. Besides, this isn't the type of set I would wear everyday! Oh wait, it likely is. I love wearing my most luxurious pieces everyday. What's the point of having beautiful things if you don't wear them?
I have some other Honey Birdette sets and they do tend to fit a little larger in the cup. My only grievance with Honey Birdette is that the bras are very heavily padded, which is something I definitely don't need. This is a personal preference, I know there are a lot of women who like this in a bra, but this isn't something I'm crazy about. However, it does give beautiful cleavage that isn't too in-your-face.
The knickers and the suspender are beautiful too and they fit nicely. I'm wearing a small in both and they fit comfortably. The suspenders also hold up stockings surprisingly well considering how thin they are.
This is a beautiful set that I can't wait to shoot in!
